DIY Bleached Denim Jacket + Gray Knitted Shirt

You know... some days are jut one of "those" days. Don't act like you don't know what type of day I'm talking about! I'm talking about those days where just nothing goes according to plan and every little thing just aggravates you.

Yeah... I had one of "those" days. An early movie matinee date turned into a late night movie date that resulted in me getting home late. A quick trip to the bank resulted in a cosmetic blemish on my car and an undying attitude for the rest of the day. A trip to the mall for lunch resulted in me throwing out the entire lunch. Yeah, it was one of "those days.

One thing I learned as I get older is to let whatever series of events life throws at you happen. It's so true. We can't predict our days, otherwise there'd be a lot less mistakes being made. I'm saying all of this to say, just let life happen and keep it moving. Today was one of "those" days. 😂

Anyways... I'm so so so loving this denim jacket. I bought it last week from Old Navy. I wanted a lighter colored denim for my jacket, but Old Navy on had a dark denim one. I love a good DIY so my wheels started turning and before I even swiped my card to purchase. I had already decided that I would do another DIY to make this jacket exactly what I wanted.

Well... it didn't turn out that way. I wanted a light blue denim jacket that was even toned. I looked on Pinterest and found a DIY that I thought would work. So I filled up a large pot, added a bottle of clorox, filled the rest with water and added my jacket. I thought it would bleach evenly but I got this tie die effect that I absolutely HATED. 🙄 So, the next day, I bleached it again. It wasn't exactly what I wanted but I LOVED the way it came out. It's perfect for this transition into spring. I hope you guys like it.
